The Cerebral Stroke Program of the Hospital San Fernando Clinic has been recognized with the Advanced Certification from the World Stroke Organization (WSO), one of the most important global authorities in the care of stroke (ACV).

This achievement highlights the institution as one of the two only Advanced Care Centers of the ACV certified in Panama, After an evaluation process in which they participated more than 60 healthcare entities, Of these, only 4 were certified and only 2 reached the level Advanced.

The advanced certification recognizes compliance with strict international standards in aspects such as:

• Rapid response protocols for the care of stroke.
• Highly trained interdisciplinary teams.
• Specialized infrastructure for neurological emergencies.
• Follow-up processes and demonstrably effective clinical results.
• Patient-centered care based on evidence.

This recognition reinforces the institutional commitment of Clínica Hospital San Fernando to clinical excellence, timely attention and continuous improvement. In addition, it complements the recent improvements of the institution, including its new operating rooms and other certifications such as JCI, consolidating it as a regional reference in specialized care at the ACV.
