About the Service
The Institute of Pulmonology and Allergies, SA (INASA) is made up of doctors specializing in pulmonology, allergology and immunology, respiratory therapists, nurses and administrative staff, who work to provide a service of excellence in the field of respiratory and allergic diseases. .
This service is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at the San Fernando Hospital Clinic, if admission is through the emergency room.
Attention in medical consultations is from Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon depending on the doctor.
The services provided in the outpatient clinic are provided by specialist doctors. They are also provided on an outpatient basis:
- Respiratory therapies
- Spirometry tests
- Plethysmography tests
In Allergology, skin tests are performed for environmental allergies, allergies to food and medications.
In the event that our allergist deems it appropriate, we proceed to the treatment of hyposensitization or sensitization).
The Asthma Clinic provides specialized care that includes talks, brochures, and training in the use of inhalers.
Education of patients and families is emphasized as a fundamental part of treatment, through talks, seminars, follow-up telephone calls, and even visits to patients' homes, as indicated by the evolution of each case. (There are no home visits).
